About the Artist
Marisa DeAngelo is a lifelong artist whose work celebrates color, joy, and the beauty of everyday moments. Through layered mixed media and expressive techniques—inviting the viewer into a world where landscapes, still lifes, and bold abstractions glow with warmth and energy.
A fashion designer by trade, Marisa brings a refined sensitivity to color, texture, and form to her fine art practice.
Her series “Flowers That Never Fade Away” transforms wood block into lasting symbols of joy—painted in acrylic, accented with gold leaf, and sealed in resin. Each piece is carefully framed and engraved, emphasizing permanence and craftsmanship.
Inspired from her ocean side surroundings, summer days on Cape Cod, visits to the city, and simple pleasures like fresh flowers, Marisa’s work reflects her belief that art should be both aesthetically pleasing and emotionally uplifting. Her paintings are visual celebrations—rooted in place, memory, and the enduring power of beauty.
Marisa is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with graduate studies abroad in archaeology and fine art.
